Boyish Good Looks Restored.

I don’t usually do selfies. I’ve never considered myself photogenic or at all good looking.

I let myself go a bit lately and gave myself a shock when I finally looked in a mirror. So much so I posted a photo.

My favourite comment was from my old friend Tony who remarked “I like the look – part crazy Irish writer/part Yugoslavian serial killer”.

Apt. Appearances are important.

So I gave myself a trim.

Lost a bit of weight.

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
