Niemöller’s Confession 2020

First they came for the toilet paper, and I did not speak out —  Because it was funny.
Then they came for the flour, and I did not speak out — Because I was gluten intolerant.
Then they came for the canned tomatoes and I did not speak out — Because I had plenty in the pantry.
Then they came for meat — and there was none left for me.
